Health care is the **single most important** issue for most Americans, yet 51 million people forego a considerable amount of influence in shaping our nation’s health policy by not registering to vote. COVID-19 has made these issues painfully salient, with voter registration down by **70% in many states**.

Join the Ash Center and the Center for Public Leadership in recognizing Civic Health Month and for a discussion on how healthcare workers are deepening civic engagement through voter empowerment, including how high levels of civic engagement can drive more equitable health outcomes.

 Panelists include:

- **Dr. Deborah Turner**, League of Women Voters
- **Prof. Parissa Ballard,** Wake Forest University School of Medicine
- **Dr. Alister Martin**, Vot-ER
- **Liz McKenna**, Johns Hopkins
- **Lucas Buyon (Moderator)**, Harvard University
