National Voter Registration Day

National Voter Registration Day

All of us are dedicated to building a civic culture here at Harvard by helping our peers register and vote. With only 41 days (!!!) until the November 3rd elections, we're doing this work day in and day out. So, what makes today, National Voter Registration Day (NVRD), so special?

National Voter Registration Day first started in 2012, and has since grown to become the staple, non-partisan, nation-wide mobilization effort that we look forward to each year. It's a day of energy, excitement, and joy. Just look on social media at #NationalVoterRegistrationDay (seriously, go look!).

Whether you're new to the HVC coalition and are looking for ways to join the conversation, or you've been a part of the coalition for a while and are looking for an opportunity for activation and inspiration, we hope today's National Voter Registration Day celebrations at Harvard has something for you. Please join us for the following events and actions:

We also invite you to share your voter story via Harvard's 'Why I Vote' social media campaign. All Harvard students, faculty, staff, and affiliates can submit a photo and a quote about why they vote to be featured on Harvard social channels.

Happy NVRD,
